A Dominican Republic man is suing the federal government for allegedly selling him Viagra for his sexual health.
The man faces up to 10 years in prison and other possible consequences in the US federal court in Miami, Florida.
The alleged drug maker, Pfizer, has been accused of selling the drug to other countries and other people including the US and the Dominican Republic.

The US Food and Drug Administration, the agency that administers the FDA's approved medicines, is warning consumers about the dangers of taking Viagra, a prescription drug marketed to treat erectile dysfunction.
The FDA issued a public health warning Thursday that Viagra is no longer approved for erectile dysfunction in the US.
It said the drug was not approved for use in any other countries but the FDA has been advising consumers about the drug's risks.
Pfizer is now pursuing a lawsuit from the US District Court in Miami against the drug maker and its distributor, which is the US-based manufacturer of Viagra.
According to court documents, Pfizer sold Viagra to the US, New York, Florida, and Puerto Rico as the first to experience serious side effects from the drug.
Viagra is the brand name of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra, which is sold under the brand name Cialis. It is also known as the drug's active ingredient, sildenafil.
Pfizer is currently appealing the FDA's warning, but the court-appointed judge, Louis Leucht, has said that the drug maker would have been better off selling it to other countries.
The FDA is also investigating whether the FDA's warning against the drug is being used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Many people believe that erectile dysfunction is a consequence of aging, but many of us believe it is a symptom of other issues like diabetes or depression. In this article we’ll explore some of the symptoms of erectile dysfunction and what you can do to manage them.
Erectile dysfunction is a common problem, which can be caused by many things. It’s estimated that in one million of men over age 40, impotence is the most common cause of ED. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, over one in five men in their 40s and 50s experience erectile dysfunction, but more men in their 60s and 70s are experiencing it. Erectile dysfunction can happen when there is too much blood flow to the penis, or there’s too little.
In the U. S., there are two types of men with erectile dysfunction. Men who have difficulty getting or maintaining an erection are called impotence-type. In men who cannot get an erection because they have diabetes, or because they have a physical problem like diabetes, ED is the most common cause of ED. In men who have diabetes, the condition is called type 2 diabetes. It can occur in up to one in five men who have diabetes, or in up to one in five who have diabetes and the condition can cause erectile dysfunction.
The most common drugs that are used to treat ED are Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, and Cialis. Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra are the most commonly used drugs for ED. They work by increasing blood flow to the penis, and have a relaxing effect on the body. Cialis and Viagra work by blocking an enzyme in the body that causes an erection when sexual arousal occurs.
Cialis and Viagra are the only drugs that are effective in treating ED. It works by relaxing the muscles in the penis and allowing for an erection when sexual arousal occurs. It does not work for everyone and is not recommended for everyone.
They also have similar effects in the body. When you take Viagra, you take it slowly and at a lower dose than when you are taking Cialis. You do not need to increase the dose to get the most benefit from the medication.
Cialis and Viagra are effective in treating ED but they are not the only medications that are effective in treating ED. There are several other medications that are effective in treating ED, including Stendra, Sildenafil, and Vitaros. Some of these medications are used to treat other conditions, such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which is the enlargement of the prostate gland that occurs with enlarged prostate gland. If you have BPH, you should not take Stendra or Vitaros.
The only ED medication that can be prescribed for people with diabetes is Viagra. People with diabetes are not advised to take Viagra or any other diabetes medication because it can cause the condition to progress. Some people may need to take Viagra or other diabetes medications before they are prescribed any medication. It is important to talk to your doctor about whether you should take any ED medications.
Erectile dysfunction is a common problem that is often caused by a number of factors, including diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, and drinking alcohol. When erectile dysfunction occurs, the nerves that control the blood flow of the penis become damaged, and it can cause damage to the blood vessels that supply the penis. This can cause problems in the nerves that control blood flow and blood vessels that supply the penis. ED can affect men who have diabetes. Diabetes can be a root cause of ED, but it can also be a symptom of other conditions, like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or heart disease. If you experience ED at the same time as it is caused by a physical issue, your doctor may need to adjust your medication.
Many of the signs and symptoms that you may experience after having a sex life are not good for you. If you think you may have ED, talk to your doctor.

Sildenafil is an oral medication that works by increasing blood flow to the penis. This occurs due to the fact that sildenafil belongs to a group of medications called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. PDE5 is the name given to an enzyme that breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). When cGMP is degraded, it is broken down, allowing more blood to flow into the penis. When sildenafil is ingested, it relaxes the smooth muscles in the blood vessels, allowing more cGMP to flow into the penis. This process is known as angiogenesis. When sildenafil is taken, it enhances blood flow to the penis, allowing for an erection. This is typically a short-term treatment, but can last up to 5-6 hours. Sildenafil is usually taken before sexual activity.Healthylife Product Information. leaflet Revatio 100mg Sildenafil tablet is a medication used to treat erection dysfunction (ED). Dr Andrew Witty, chair of the US Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) regulatory advisory committee, said: “The FDA is working to establish an ad hoc basis for assessing whether an approved pill is safe and appropriate to use in the United States.”
The panel’s recommendation follows a recent finding of an advisory committee finding that an erectile dysfunction medication marketed as Viagra was unsafe for use in the United States. In a statement, the US FDA said it would now recommend that Viagra be discontinued from the market.
The committee has recommended that Pfizer discontinue the drug for health reasons.
Sildenafil is the active ingredient in Viagra, the erectile dysfunction medication that Pfizer launched to treat erectile dysfunction in 1998. The FDA said it would also recommend that a similar medication be withdrawn from the market after safety concerns.
A spokesman for Pfizer, Eli Lilly and Co, said: “Our clinical trial showed that sildenafil did not have a cardiovascular safety benefit and that it could lead to heart attack or death.
“Our review of the data indicates that this medication may have an increased risk of heart attack and death in patients with certain heart conditions.”
According to Pfizer, the company has not received any reports of serious heart-related side effects from Viagra. It is not known whether it will discontinue the drug.
The panel said the FDA has determined that erectile dysfunction drugs marketed as Viagra have a “serious risk of cardiovascular problems” and recommended a label change in 2011. However, the FDA said it was working to establish a basis for assessing whether the pill would be safe and appropriate for use in the United States.
The committee did not recommend that an approved pill for erectile dysfunction have to be removed from the market before Viagra can become available. The panel is not recommending the use of sildenafil.
Erectile dysfunction drugs such as Viagra are known to have side effects, including headache, upset stomach and low blood pressure, that have not been evaluated by the FDA. The side effects are uncommon in men taking the medication.
An article in the British Medical Journal in October 2010 by Dr David McCullough in which he compared sildenafil and placebo with those of placebo for erectile dysfunction, concluded that they were similar to those of placebo in erectile dysfunction.
Photo byDr Andrew Witty said: “This study is one of the first studies of the potential safety of sildenafil, and it showed the drug was safe for patients with erectile dysfunction. We also know that the medication does not appear to cause cardiovascular problems.
“We are also aware of side effects such as dizziness and gastrointestinal problems. These effects are more likely in patients with heart disease who are taking other medications.”
Dr Witty said the panel recommended a recommendation that Pfizer discontinue Viagra, noting that it had already suspended the sale of Viagra, citing concerns about potential safety issues.
The FDA recommended a new form of erectile dysfunction medication to treat erectile dysfunction, called sildenafil citrate. The panel has said that Viagra is the most widely used erectile dysfunction drug. In a study of more than 6,000 patients, sildenafil citrate was found to be effective for erectile dysfunction.
Erectile dysfunction drugs such as Viagra are known to have side effects, including headache, upset stomach and low blood pressure. A study in theJournal of Sexual Medicinefound that erectile dysfunction drugs such as Viagra could cause men to feel dizzier than usual.
Viagra is also known to be associated with certain side effects, including cardiovascular problems, such as blood clots and high blood pressure.
Dr Andrew Witty, a spokesman for Pfizer, said: “Pfizer is aware that there are concerns about the safety of sildenafil and that the FDA has determined that sildenafil should be discontinued. We will continue to follow up with patients and physicians when it becomes clear that sildenafil is the safe and appropriate treatment for erectile dysfunction.”
The panel recommended that Pfizer discontinue Viagra, citing concerns about safety, as it had not received any reports of serious side effects from Viagra. Pfizer said it would also recommend a label change in 2011.
